Waiting for Toast

This blog entry was assigned by Herb (My English Professor) as a kind of fun little assignment.  In class, we were having a discussion about how long one might wait for toast to pop out of the toaster in their lifetime.
The answer could not be determined, however Herb was inspired to assign this, so some good came out of it at least (or did it?).  Anyways he said it could be anything not just toast, so I looked up how many steps you take in a lifetime.

Here's what I got:
A person who walked from the age of 1 clear up to the age of 80 would walk 216,262,500 steps in their lifetime, equivalent to 108,131 miles if your an average person with an average stride.

All I have to say is that made me tired.  It's really late, so time for bed, night everyone.
